Single Seat License – FEFLOW can only be run on the one computer the dongle is attached to. A Single Seat License can not be used on server operating systems suitable for simultaneous access of more than one client computer. Includes installation kit (DVD, manuals), dongle, license, and 12 months SMA.
Network License (concurrent use) – FEFLOW may be installed on any number of computers, while the license is installed on a central license server within the network (LAN or WAN). It is not allowed to use FEFLOW on more computers simultaneously than the number of purchased licenses. Includes installation kit (DVD, manuals), dongle, license, and 12 months SMA.
Additional Network License (concurrent use) – additional network license of the same or lower feature level than the Network License, registered to the same dongle. All network licenses on a certain dongle must have the same version. The purchase of additional network licenses on a certain dongle with licenses under maintenance requires an extension of the maintenance contract for the new licenses. Includes license, and 12 months SMA. No Multiple Copy Discount available.
SMA (Software Maintenance Agreement) – Annual fee for support services and updates. Maintenance for network licenses can only be ordered for all registered network licenses of a certain dongle. A 12 months SMA is included with any license purchase.
Update – A specific update price is not offered. SMA renewal is possible by paying SMA fees for the outstanding period (up to 1,5 years) and for 12 months in the future.
Upgrade – an upgrade to a higher feature level or license type is possible at the cost of the price difference between the two licenses. An additional network license cannot be upgraded to a higher feature level than the one of the first network license on the dongle. An upgrade is only available for the current major release. An upgrade of licenses with SMA requires a simultaneous upgrade of the SMA.
Research discount - under certain conditions for research purposes a discount of 20 % on the list prices is offered.
Educational License Kits - may be used for educational purposes only. Model size is restricted to 2500 nodes per slice and 5 slices in 3D. The FMHES-Kit contains 5 licenses, one installation kit (DVD, manuals), and 30 days installation support. FMHEL-Kit contains 5 additional license codes only.
