HASP HL USB Daemon RPM Packages for Linux x86 and x86_64: Readme

This document describes an update of released Aladdin HASP HL USB Daemon RPM Packages for Linux x86 and x86_64.

Supported Platforms

• RedHat Fedora Core 4 and later, RedHat Enterprise Server 4, SuSE 10.1 and later, SuSE Enterprise Server 10.0

Version 1.10.1 (June 2007)

The following list details the installation packages for the Linux Red Hat and SuSE distributions.

• aksusbd-redhat-1.10.1-1.i386.rpm
• aksusbd-suse-1.10.1-1.i386.rpm

• Use rpm -i aksusbd-redhat-1.10.1-1.i386.rpm to install.
• Use rpm -e aksusbd-redhat-1.10.1-1 to uninstall.

Two separate daemons are installed by each of the RPM packages:

• aksusbd for USB HASP access from Linux
• winehasp for HASP access from WINE

If you require access to keys connected to a parallel port, you must also install the aksparlnx package.

Enhancements

• Support for SuSE 10.2 and for SuSE Enterprise 10.0
