What is FEFLOW?

FEFLOW is a professional software package for modeling fluid flow and transport of dissolved constituents and/or heat transport processes in the subsurface.

FEFLOW contains pre- and post processing functionality and an efficient simulation engine. A user-friendly graphical interface provides easy access to the extensive modeling options.

FEFLOW is a completely integrated system from simulation engine to graphical user interface. It also includes a public programming interface for user code.

FEFLOW is used by leading consulting firms, research institutes, universities and government organizations all over the world. Its scope of application ranges from simple local-scale to complex large-scale simulations.

FEFLOW is developed by DHI-WASY GmbH, the German branch of the DHI Group.

User Group Meeting

September 11, MIKE by DHI UGM in Lucerne

We cordially invite all German speaking MIKE by DHI users to visit our MIKE by DHI User Group Meeting in Switzerland in the Continental Park Hotel in Lucerne on September 11, 2014.

Topics will be urban water, groundwater and surface water modelling. In the framework of the UGM we’ll introduce you to novelties and advanced functionalities of the MIKE 2014 version. Together with some of our clients we’ll explain interesting and challenging projects managed by our clients using our MIKE by DHI software. Following this we are looking forward to lively discussions and to your proposals!

On September 12, 2014 we offer training courses in the areas urban water, groundwater and surface water modelling in the framework of THE ACADEMY by DHI.

Summerschool 2014

It’s becoming a tradition: The week-long summerschool program Modelling of Mass and Energy Transport in Porous Media With Practical Applications is again offered this year.

The summer school is a collaborative effort between DHI-WASY, Freie Universität Berlin and Geoforschungszentrum Potsdam.  At a very affordable price, it offers a combination of lectures, introductory FEFLOW exercises, and FEFLOW application in project work.

Introduction to IFM

By use of IFM plug-ins FEFLOW’s wide range of functionality can be extended even further: The Interface Manager (IFM), FEFLOW’s convenient open programming interface allows to add missing features at run time and makes plug-in development a manageable task, even for less experienced programmers.

FEFLOW Training

This one-day, hands-on course provides you with an introductory training in IFM programming and will enable you to develop your own FEFLOW plug-ins.
